Repeat clients will be charged original fee. Payments are made in installments, with the first due upon signing and the remainder due at 37 weeks. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to find out if they offer reimbursement for the cost of a doula! I can provide you with an itemized invoice to submit for reimbursement.
What’s Included?
2-3 Prenatal Visits
I like to meet with my clients at their home at least twice prior to the birth. I love these visits! We will prepare for your birth by discussing your preferences and developing a birth plan, practicing relaxation techniques and comfort measures, as well as discussing all aspects of what to expect when it comes to birth. These prenatal appointments are also a wonderful time for us to really get to know each other and get excited about your birth!
Unlimited Phone and Email Support
Prenatally I am always available to my clients. As questions arise or there’s something you’d like to process, please feel free to call, text, or email. As your doula I am your friend and ally!
Continuous Labor Support
I will be on call from 38-42 weeks of your pregnancy, and I will join you whenever you feel that you are ready for support in labor. I will remain with you providing support throughout your entire labor, and will stay 1-2 hours after the birth. During this time I am happy to assist with early breastfeeding! I usually say goodbye once everyone is ready for private family time and my support is no longer needed.
Postpartum Visit
Within the first week or two after the birth, I will visit you and your new baby at home! We will discuss and process your birth, check in with how feeding is going, how you are feeling physically and emotionally, and I’ll bring you some homemade sourdough too!
